Project vSTEM aims to make STEM educational more accessible for students across the globe through different mediums including online and practical means. Our Project is a student-led endeavor intended to further the individual passions which we all have: STEM!

Udemy

We are pleased to announce our newly launched Udemy Course: “Intro to Python.” This course is a beginner python course now available for free on Udemy. This course includes various topics ranging from Data Types to Operations. The 14 lecture course is useful beginner for anyone wanting to further a career in the STEM Field.

Instructables

In addition to our Youtube Videos, we also have various Instructables Projects through which we combine Engineering and Biological Concepts to make interesting every day projects for the use of elementary, middle, and even high school students.

Ameya Joshi
Co-Founder

Hello, I’m Ameya Joshi! I’m a senior currently attending Lynbrook High School and I have a passion for Biology. I have participated in several health-related events like being a fellow at the Foundation of International Medical Relief of Children and participating in Emerging Business and Health Care Administration in FBLA. I am proficient in all areas of Biology and have scored highly on the AP Biology Exam. In addition to my experience with biology, I have prior experience in tutoring younger students in various disciples like math, science, and even piano. With my experience, I hope to inspire the next generation of Data Scientists and Bioinformatics Experts. I am the Vice President of STAC Programming as well as the Co-Founder and President of Project vSTEM. I will teach General Biology and Computational Algebra.


Pranay Tiru
Co-Founder

Hi! My name is Pranay Tiru and I’m the co-founder of vSTEM. I’m a Senior at Lynbrook High School and I have a passion for computer science and engineering. I help manage vSTEM’s Instructables account and teach Python on our Udemy channel. Outside of my involvement in vSTEM, I’m a dedicated boy scout, a piano player (and teacher) and the founder of Pattur Web Design - a non-profit specializing in bringing businesses online. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and watching TV.

Michelle Choi
Head of Content

Hello! My name is Michelle Choi and I am a senior at Lynbrook High School. I am experienced with tutoring children from my prior work experience at Kumon and also teaching children how to swim. I am also experienced with working with special needs children from volunteering at a non profit. I have a passion for science and math, and have received high sub-scores for science and math sections on the ACT. I have also scored highly on the AP Psychology Exam. I am the head of content of Project VStem. I will teach Computational Algebra and Biology.
